SBH Rural Project in Warangal

Stepping ahead its strategy to reach rural masses, State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) has signed a MoU with the Andhra Pradesh rural development department and the Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT) for the implementation of financial inclusion project in Warangal. 

As per the MoU, payments under the rural employment guarantee scheme and social security pensions would be made at villages through smart cards, eliminating delays.
 
The bank has been allotted 23 villages in the district to implement the project.
