Dr. N. Krishna Mohan has taken over as Director, Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT), Hyderabad, with effect from March 05, 2007. Prior to taking over as Director, Dr. Mohan was Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Thiruvananthapuram.
Dr. Mohan brings with him over 25 years of experience in various departments of the Reserve Bank of India. He was associated with Banking Policy and Currency Operations at the RBI Central Office and earlier he was the Vice Principal and Member of Faculty, Reserve Bank Staff College, Chennai.
Dr. Mohan holds a Master's Degree in Policy Economics from the University of Illinois, USA and a Doctorate from Osmania University, Hyderabad. He has trained in the area of Risk Management at International Banking and Finance Institute, France.
