Programmes of IDRBT form an integral part of the Institute’s Initiatives in aiding technology absorption in the Banking and Financial Sector. The focus of our programmes, which include Executive Development Programmes, Seminars, Workshops and Conferences, is to prepare the top and middle-level managements of Banks and Financial Institutions for ‘Technology Banking’. 

These specialized programmes are open to both the Public and Private Sectors. The programmes address various areas of immediate relevance such as Networking Technologies, Payment Systems, Security Technologies, Cyber Crimes, Information System Audit, Intellectual Property Rights, Open Source Technologies, Data Warehousing and Data Mining, Latest Innovations in Banking Technology, Web Based Learning Technologies, Software Engineering, Corporate Intranet & E-Mail etc. 

IDRBT Programmes are all about disseminating ‘tech-knowledge’ and so, providing extensive hands-on experience is an integral part of all the programmes conducted by the Institute. This helps the participants try out all the concepts learnt in the classroom themselves and sort out the arising issues. 

The sessions are addressed by a team of dedicated and experienced Faculty, who are well versed with various practical applications of technology. In addition, the Faculty accord special importance to analysing the subject with real-life case studies to ensure that the participant gets a thorough understanding of the issues. Eminent guest speakers, both from the academia and the industry are invited to address and interact with the participants.

Presentations, learning material and regular updates are made available on the web with adequate access control to the participants to enable continuous learning. Participants can get connected at their leisure to catch up with the latest in their area of interest. 

The Institute has a library with a highly specialized collection, classrooms, seminar halls, conference halls and computer labs equipped with all the latest facilities to ensure a total learning experience.
