Data Warehouse for Banks

Banks are being overwhelmed with data, but they lack the tools to understand and use it to increase profits. They need to tame the data, leverage value from it and capitalize on it. Data Warehousing is the right solution to identify and extract high-value information from data assets for Business Intelligence. This solution can be a key tool for business decision support in Banks and Financial Institutions. 

The project on Data Warehouse for Banks involved developing a Data Warehouse system and OLAP tools and configuring the server and clients. The project also involved developing few data marts for banks such as Deposit, Credit etc. to serve the information needs of a bank. An OLAP interface is proposed which can be useful for managers in taking appropriate decisions.
